The Time I Spent All Day Drawing Valentines.

Well, it's Valentine's Day again, and once more nothing has happened. I'm still as single as ever before... but don't think that throws me. Silly attempts to make me feel bad about my singularity don't work on me.

Today is just another day, except this day happens to garner a lot of hype with tv commercials and sections of stores decorated all frilly pink and lace and busting to the brim with chocolate.

I am currently making valentines for my family and friends (though none-the-less by the time you read this post I'll be finished), and I thought I would take a break for a bit to write a blog post. I pinned a bunch of ideas for valentines on pinterest this year so that they would all be in a single place, but due to certain circumstances that I'm not allowed to tell you about I am left without a printer for today (and today only--when I actually NEED it).

So I decided that I would have to draw them. Here are a few pictures, taken on a phone, so sorry if you can't read the words.

On Writing and Hair Dye.

Sorry for the lack of updates, guys. Things haven't really been very interesting around here. I've been writing, and holing up in my room, mostly. And despite the fact that I've been writing so frequently, I'm only at 20K words right now. 

I technically wrote the ending to my book today. My story was crawling along so slowly about a week ago, and so I skipped ahead to past the climax and started writing from there. It really sped up the process, and gave me something to write about, though unfortunately, I reached the end today. Like, I finished the story and put that cheesy 'THE END' at the end. I was a bit sad, even though I'm not even finished yet.

I learned a lot about my characters and plot my skipping ahead, though.

By now I've accepted the fact that I'm not reaching 50K by the end of the month. Instead, I'm aiming for a good 30K. And I'll be happy.

Speaking of happy. I dyed my hair last night.

It turned out more red than I expected, but I still really like it. So now I'm glad I actually did it.

What I do on Thursdays.

This morning--like any morning--I was on my Twitter account. I get all of my news from Twitter, just FYI, so when my feed was full of tweets like this, I had to find out more.

 

I went to her official website and was surprised to find out that the people on Twitter were correct (they kill off countless people every day. Last week they killed Demi Moore--and she's not dead).

What I'm doing to respond to this:
