Guys. I'm in Kansas City right now.
The only reason I'm telling you this is because Kansas City is really big, and there is absolutely no way you can track me down (this isn't a challenge).
I'm here with my robotics team for a competition. It was held earlier today at Union Station, and though we didn't win we still had fun. Also, my friend and I rode the escalator a bunch of times, which is nice. It was almost like having a stroll about the room, without actually strolling or moving.
Tonight we went to Panera Bread and stopped at the LEGO store, which was right across the pavilion, and I bought a Loki and also a Severus Snape key chain. We were going to go ice skating, but once we had driven a half hour to the indoor place (while the outdoor place was just a few strides from Panera, it was decided that it was too cold for outside arenas), we found out that on Saturdays that particular ice place hosts hockey games. So we returned back to the hotel and swam once more.
I've been here for three days now. Tomorrow I get to go home to my family and animals and no shops and such.
In a lot of ways I like Kansas City: the scenery is nice, and it is also great having a bunch of shops to go to if we need stuff. However, I'm more suited for small town life. I don't like all of the people living inside of their own heads in this city. I don't like that at night I'm trapped under a murky purple sky because of the lights and the fumes. I am looking forward to silence (I mean, not that I don't enjoy being around my friends who just happen to be boys, but they get a little rowdy sometimes), and peace, and a clear blue sky with stars.
